This is the 9th year that we have been doing this Event...the first year was just a couple of people and it seems to be growing every year...once again we have booked the backroom of the Village Inn for our Friday evening dinner and this year they will be setting up a fish dinner buffet...the room seats 50-60 people comfortably so if you are coming please let us know so we can prepare the V I staff...Thank you  

St. Ignace
Event
•   Friday August 20th we are leaving from the Speedway Gas station on Dixie Hwy and I-75 (Exit 144) at 9:30 am.
•   We will ride up I-75 to Bay City M-13 exit.
•   We will ride up M-13 to Coty Estey Rd turn right at light.
•   Ride on Coty Estey Rd it turns into N Shore Rd. then to State Rd.
•   Ride on State Rd. to M-23
•   Gas Stop at North Port.
•   Take M-23 North to Greenbush for lunch at the Red Rooster..

•   Take M-23 North to Alpena gas stop…
•   Take M-23 north to 40 mile lighthouse..scenic stop
•   Take M-23 north to Cheboygen gas stop…
•   Take M-23 to Mackinaw City turn on I-75 and cross Mackinaw Bridge $3.50 bike $4.50 bike with trailer.
•   Take I-75 to 1st exit …St. Ignace business loop I-75…ride through St. Ignace to The Americas Best Value Inn…and check in.
•   We have the back room reserved for dinner for our group at the Village Inn at 6:30.

Saturday August 21st
•   We will be leaving from the Hotel at 10:00am and riding through St. Ignace to US-2
•   We will ride up US-2 to Cut River Rd. turn Right.
•   Cut River Rd. to Hiawatha trail to C-40 Trout Lake Rd.
•   C-40 Trout Lake Rd. to Trout Lake and M-123
•   Take M-123 right to Gas station stop…   
•   Back on M-123 north to Strong’s Rd.
•   Turn Right on Strong’s Rd. and follow it up through Strong’s Mi.
•   Cross M-28 …Strong’s Rd Turns into N. Salt Point Rd.
•   Stay on N. Salt Point Rd. to the Curly Lewis Hwy..
•   Turn Right on the Curly Lewis Hwy( Lake Shore Dr / Brimley Rd
•   Ride to the Iroquois Point Lighthouse Stop.
•   Back on Brimley Rd. (left) Ride all the way to Sault Ste. Marie and Mackinaw Trail Rd. (left)
•   Mackinaw Trail Rd. to Ashman Rd. to Portage Ave and the Soo locks.
•   Visit locks and have dinner at one of the many local restaurants
•   Back on I-75 and return south to St. Ignace…where we will have our legendary parking lot party be sure to bring your favorite goofy hat.

Sunday Morning August 22nd.
On Sunday morning folks normally group up and ride home …hope you all have a great and wonderful weekend.

As it gets closer, we should talk.  GR can hook up with you folks on the way over, then meet up in Saginaw. 

We'll talk ~~~ probably at the GR Road Ryders Poker Ride.

I'm shameless !!   gotta keep on pluggin - this is gonna be BETTER than good !
