I have a coolant leak somewhere. every now and then I can smell it, but there is very little evidence it a leak. I have had a couple drops under the bike. I did replace the cap, it was about shot. Any ideas would be appreciated. I hate digging into something like this, I usually only make things worse Huh

Look behind the radiator.
that hose is apt to loosen and  the band around the hose can be tighten with a long driver

Scooter,
Check to be sure the set screw is seating on an area to hold it....(ie... the cap isn't fully tightened on the radiator neck)....I had troubles when I could get my cap to stay in place...
